Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner Based: Central London Type: Temporary Contract Length of Contract: Immediately till end of November Rate: Ј120.00 per day Description: Job Purpose Responsible for the delivery of an HR plan for a defined client organisation to improve business performance and achieve business objectives. To provide advice and guidance on people management, organisation and change management challenges facing the client organisation. Key Accountabilities: 1. Provide proactive and reactive specialist advice in all aspects of Human Resources to the client organisation. 2. Provide ER support and advice to client organisation on discipline and grievance, poor performance, managing for health, organisational change and harassment, etc in line with corporate policy and procedure. 3. Provision of advice on employment law and trade union agreements to client organisation. 4. Develop and manage effective internal HR relationships (eg training and development, resourcing, etc), ensuring a seamless delivery of HR services. 5. First line advice for benefits and the management of processes*policy in liaison with Compensation and Benefits and the HR Manager. 6. Management of local evaluation of job descriptions and assigning job families, before validation through Compensation and Benefits. 7. Contribute to and deliver the human resources plan for the client organisation Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 3 years generalist experience operating at management level in a complex, changing fast-paced environment. Up to date knowledge of employment*trade union legislation and proven track record of successfully resolving ER*IR issues. Ability to influence across a range of management levels from senior managers to supervisory level. Experience of supporting an organisation change programme (eg merger, TUPE, redundancy). Strong customer and delivery focus. Desirable: Graduate CIPD*Post graduate HR qualification. Experience of operating in a complex, unionised environment. Experience of operating in a regulated*safety critical environment. Supervisory*line management experience.
